Soprano Iida Nummela is a versatile music professional who works as a singer, vocal coach, and choir conductor. She is known as a radiant and charismatic performer whose sensitive and gentle personality shines through in her singing. At the same time, she also enjoys exploring the more dramatic and bold sides of her artistic expression.

Nummela holds master’s degrees in Music Education and Choral Conducting from the Sibelius Academy, where she is currently completing a Master’s degree in Opera Singing. Her vocal studies have been guided by teachers including Sirkka Parviainen, Outi Kähkönen, and Margareta Brandt.

She has performed as a soloist with orchestras and choirs, including the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra, and made her operatic debut as Fiordiligi in the Sibelius Academy’s 2026 production of Così fan tutte. In spring 2025, she took part in the prestigious Lappeenranta National Singing Competition. Her artistic work has been supported by Oopperakummit ry, the Selim Eskelin Foundation, and the Sibelius Academy Foundation.
